How to handle when a different bot shows up while testing my bot?

If at the time of testing your bot, you happen to see a different bot or a mismatch, you can follow the steps mentioned below to correct the issue.

  1. Check the business id. Navigate to Share bot > Test Credentials.

  2. Navigate to Business Manager.
  3. Check the linked business.
  4. If the bot is not assigned to the correct business, open the business you want the bot to be assigned to.
  5. Make a few changes in the settings (Example: Enable/Disable Small Talk) and then change the Default Bot.
  6. Save the changes.
  7. The business will be mapped to the correct bot.

These steps are not recommended by Haptik, as linking and unlinking the bot from a business can cause unwanted issues to the Bot. Do this under the supervision of someone who has either done this before or reach out to us at support@haptik.ai.
