If you are facing a problem with entities not getting detected, you should follow the below checks.
- Firstly, navigate to the Step that captures the entity, and enter the input as expected, so as to check if the bot is responding or not.
- If there is no response from the bot, type a random string and check the logs for that particular Step, and check if the correct entity is captured or not.
- If the Entity is not being captured, verify the TYPE of the entity and the Dictionary values/ Range / Regex Pattern added for the entity.
- You can also check the Previous context tags. Previous context tags won't work if the user query falls outside the text added as context.
- The previous context tag should be present in the initial message within 500 characters from the bottom up.
- If you have made any change to the Step, especially related to entities, make sure you train the bot prior to testing it.
